In this Instructable I will show my Interface.

Its password Protected, It has a set trial period (By that I mean you can only open it ten times but I will show you how to get around it) and a choice of 10 options to carry out.

1.Calculator.
2.Explorer.
3.Lock the file with a password.
4.Shutdown the computer with your settings.
eg How long til shutdown.
5.Make a Cmd command inside The interface.
6.Start a new notepad document.
7.Start windows media player.
8.Use Run in the interface.
9.If you don't like the color change it !!!
10. The close button on the top right hand corner.

Step 1: The Code

Below is the code if you can't download it. Copy and paste into notepad and save as whatever.bat

Step 2: How to Start

When you first open it, it will come up with
Please enter your name below
where it says that put

cow

and after that it will say
please enter your regisratration code
then enter

15cow-67frg

This starts the trial period.

Step 3: After

After you have closed and open it again you will be prompted:

Do you wish to use one of your refills? or do you want to refill your pack?
Remember this will use one of your refills.

(Refills are on a whole the 10 uses)

Y will continue and use one of your trial starts (1 of 10)
N will close it and use none
R will alow you to enter a new registration code when the ten have run out
The codes are:

54hjk-57hbf

43gvg-34sdf

54fvl-54dck

75fdu-87gij

54hjf-54vgr

34gft-43brg

or if you wish to cheat press s and it will skip to The login screen

Step 4: Once You've Started

Once your in  you will be prompted for a password again the password is

cow

you then

Step 5: The Reset File

The reset file  will reset the program back to ten uses with no registration code at all !!!

The Complete delete makes you do step 1 again but normal delete just sets the ten uses to nil uses.

Step 6: ANY IDEAS?

If you have any ideas for my next interface version message me or leave a comment and I promise that you will have recognition for anything that I have used it for

Thank you (IN ADVANCE)
What's the default username and password?
When you first start the password is cow. If you have been using it for a while and it asks you for a registration key it is 15cow-67frg. After a while this will also expire so just move the interface to a new folder and your done.
Is it ok if I modify this to my own needs <br /> <br /> eg: Changing password, adding options, removing need for registration key...
Yeah only if you don't post an instructable saying that its yours (or in any over way)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please post a comment on what you thought
I see that you can save a few key press's using this system, but beyond that I can't really see the benefit. You may want to look into unix or linux, where the CLI (Command Line Interface) allows a lot of what you describe here, and lots more besides to be automated. If you enjoy making batch scripts I would highly recommend a Linux environment (my personal preference is <strong>Ubuntu</strong>) where there is all sorts of very interesting things that can be done. The windows CLI is rather limitted in many many ways.<br /> <br /> If you prefer something different there are full programming languages, such as C++ and Java that will allow you to construct command line and Graphic User Interface programs.<br /> Hope this helps,<br /> Drew<br />
Sorry switch to which os that crashed my computer and my laptop and command line is completely different. THAT&nbsp;ONE!!!
Without being so dramatic, yes, that one. Ubuntu (and many other Linux distributions)&nbsp; can be run from a CD or a Memory stick without any change to your computer, so called &quot;Live disks&quot;. Running the operating system <em>live</em> would enable you to develop shell scripts (equivalent of batch scripts) without changing you windows version installed on your computer. I suggest you have a quick look at <a href="http://www.commandlinefu.com" rel="nofollow">commandlineFu</a>, it is full of really cool one line scripts. Heres one for example; <a href="http://www.commandlinefu.com/commands/view/2834/get-futurama-quotations-from-slashdot.org-servers" rel="nofollow">This script</a> will get a <em>Futurama</em> quote from the slashdot servers and echo it to the screen (Needless to say it will only work in a BASH CLI). That's more gimmicky but there are some very useful, very cool scripts. (Currently I am running a script to compress the contents of various folders into an archive, name it with todays date and stick it in a folder marked &quot;Backups&quot;, it has 35 lines, although it could have a lot fewer but I wanted to make it readable and so I added comments, whitespace, variables, etc).<br /> <br /> It's understandable that you have been put off Ubuntu if it caused a major failure, but may I also point out that it is just one of many versions (Distributions). <a href="http://distrowatch.com/" rel="nofollow">distrowatch</a> is linked to by the linux wikipedia page, and seems to do a fairly good job of covering popular distro's. Most distro's can be downloaded legally and free from their websites. <br /> <br /> Also cygwin may be of interest, if i understand it correctly it allows you to run a Unix interface in windows, in the same way that you would run a program.<br /> <br /> The command line <em>is</em> different, but what use would it be if it was the same?<br /> <br /> Or as suggested before, you could learn a programming language. I learned with the Java programing language and I think that this is an excellent way to get started. It seems that what you are doing is trying to program with the windows shell scripts, which is hard, unforgiving and ultimately not very powerful. With the same effort you could do so much more with a full language.<br /> <br /> Drew<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
I know I did try all that first but when I installed it was a completely different story and before you say I DID&nbsp;INSTALL&nbsp;IT&nbsp;CORRECTLY&nbsp;I also tried installing it as an application and that didn't go so well either.
What went wrong? Have you looked up the error on the support pages? As I said before, programming language might be the natural progression in that case.<br /> Drew<br />
I thought it may have had something to do with the grub loader and the logon of ubuntu that didn't agree with my drives.
Some computers cannot boot from USB. The bios needs to have USB support which the &quot;older&quot; ones do not. GRUB wouldn't be used for booting from memory stick, you have to specify where you are booting from manually, usually its a function button (on this computer it's the F8 key but it will tell you during start-up how to access boot options). USB live disks are very slow, but that is because they run from RAM and over a slow USB connection. Installed on a drive it is a fair bit faster. Speed shouldn't be that much of a consideration if your developing shell scripts; you only need a light weight text editor and terminal client (and maybe firefox).<br /> <br /> Drew<br />
I tried using a live usb and cd they work on my laptop but not my desktop and they are both set up to boot off usbs and cds. besides it not working on my desktop its an alright os but i think the speed could be greatly increased.
&nbsp;what is it? is it a program you made? if it is, what's its use? this instructable is pretty vague, i don't even know what you're trying to explain here,<br /> <br /> please don't take it personal, just some crits for your next instructable<br />
Its an Interface and its a program i just randomly made for no reason, you can start programs change the text colour etc. also for some other random reason i made it so it has a trial on it (By that i mean you can only open it 10 times before having to put in a registration code, there are even ways around that)
