Step 4Mirrors
Grab your mirror(s) and lets get to work.
1. remove the plastic protecting the mirror, once it's off
be careful not to tuch the mirrors surface, you'll leave your prints on it and it will mess up the beam.
2. cut out the mirror into a square 0.5 x 0.5 (see the second picture)
3. cut a square 0.5cm x 0.7cm out of the double-sided tape, stick it on the back of the mirror, you'll see that you have 0.2cm of tape sticking out of the side, take that extra and fold it to the middle, now stick the mirror on the motor.(see pictures 3-4)
*TEST IT*
pop in a battery to see that everything is working.
when you flick the switch the motor should make the little mirror spin, now take your laser and shine it on the spining mirror,(ALWAYS DIRECT THE LASER AWAY FROM YOUR BODY) you should now see your tunnel.
4. take your Styrofoam board and
cut a triangle 1cm x 1cm x 1.5cm with depth of 1cm (see the fifth picture)
5. cut two squares 1cm x 1cm of double-sided tape and stick them as seen on the fifth picture.
6. cut one square 1cm x 1cm from the mirror and stick it on the triangle as seen on the fifth picture.
7. stick the triangle at the correct angle as seen on the sixth picture.
when your finished, go on to step 5.
