It's easy to want to roll out of bed 5 minutes before you leave the house, throw on your Lazy Girl outfit, and then think you can just get away with skipping out on your hair. But let me tell you something ladies, what you're doing is just wrong. Messy buns, lazy ponytails, rat nests, and cowlicks...it's just not acceptable. But instead of turning on your flat iron (since that takes so much effort), I'll give you a few tricks to make any bad hair don't into a sleek hairdo.

For you girls who like to throw your hair into a rat's nest of a messy bun, there actually is a solution. Rather than looking like you spend all day in bed watching Twilight and eating Phish Food, try looking like a wannabe ballerina. What I mean is...turn your messy bun into a chic little top bun!

Maybe you prefer the classic ponytail as your go-to on bad hair days. Well guess what, there's a sleeker way to pull back that hair so people don't confuse you for a a four year old playing REC soccer. Keep the pony low and chic to turn a lazy look into a sexy up-do.

Or perhaps everyday you wake up with the oh-so-frustrating cowlick. Well don't worry my dear. Pretend like it never happened and shove that kinky hair into a cute little braid. No one will ever know you sleep flat on your face.

I'd love to do that with my hair but alas I have that horrible naturally curly it turns into a fro kind of hair. If I don't slick that stuff down with oil or silicon or mouse it just goes everywhere LOL.

You should get a salon grade flat-iron. You can get them for really good prices at stores like TJ Maxx and other places. My hair is very wavy/slightly curly, and if you use a styling gel and a flat-iron, you can get sleek, sexy hair easily.

However, If you don't want to do that, you can try a styling gel alone.(I use Garnier Fructis fiber gum) It uysually works on most hair types. Or with most hair types, you can just take a shower early in the morning and put it in a chic updo like in the instructable here while it is still wet.

i actually like the "lazy pony" better than the "sleek pony" . I'm not sure why...

Seriously this is my hair everyday. Even my dude boss has tried to suggest I work on combing my hair. You are so money. I'll try some of these improvements.
