Last Halloween we won for best costume in the group category in the Trick or Treat 5k Run/Walk; we were dressed as Pacman and Ghosts. This year I decided we should be Lego people with a twist--The Justice League. The 5k was held yesterday 10/30/10 and we took first place again in the Group Category. It was horrible running in this because it was very hot, with little air coming in. In the end it was worth it because we made it into the local newspaper and everyone wanted a picture with us!

Thanks!
I am creating a lego batman costume for Halloween and was wondering how you made the hands and what you covered the eye holes with.
Your help would be very much appreciated
For the eyes, we used meshed screen like the ones for hte screen doors and we spray painted it white
Did you find that the heads kept turning or did you build some form of mechanism to prevent this? Oh... And you all look awesome!
As for the heads, the fit was snug. That is where the foam comes in as insulation and for fitting. Inside the head, you insert sponges, to act as support and cushion for the head. Because there is ample room inside the tubing, you can keep adding more...or take out the sponge to fit to your own liking.
The image upload is not working for the comment boxes, but i just uploaded the photo of how the inside should look like. Its the last photo in the slide show. Hope that helps!
I'm voting for you in the constest ;)
Materials are cheap too. You will probably spend less than 20 dollars per person, that's if you dont have some of the supplies already. Other than that, this is the most fun item I've built so far
Thank you for your kind comment kind sir

I was wondering how you built your body? Big props to you with coming up with the whole idea though, wouldn't have happened without your instructable
Yeah running was really hard, I run all the time, but this one was tough. Running in our Pacman costumes were amazingly easier than this. The heads alone kept us from running a slow jog.
