The Monthly Challenge: Audio Hacks

Follow me to hear about all of the Monthly Challenges.

This Month's Challenge:
Share a hack that somehow involves sound.

I know that a week is a short time to do a great project and I wanted to start giving people more time to get their projects together, so I have decided to turn the weekly challenge into a monthly challenge. What this means for you is that you will now have more time, more chances to win, and better prizes. I am looking forward to seeing everyone's awesome entries.

There are now 31 entries. We will now be giving away a Blu Ray Player! Keep the entries coming for more prizes.

To Enter:
Complete the challenge as specified above and share a link for a Photo or Step-By-Step Instructable in the comments below.  Entries must be published after the challenge has started to qualify.

Rules:
1) You MUST post either a Step-By-Step or Photo Instructable (no Videos)
2) All Step-By-Step Instructables
MUST have at least 3 steps and full photo documentation. All Photo Instructables MUST have at least 5 photos and a written explanation.
3) There is no limit to the number of Instructables you can post. However, no duplicate entries are allowed.
4) The judges reserve the right to disqualify anyone who cheats or engages in unsportsmanlike conduct.
5) To be clear, the project MUST be published after the challenge has started to be eligible.

OPEN TO US, CANADA (excluding Quebec), UK and AUSTRALIA
(see the official rules here)

Deadline:
All entries must be published and posted in the comments below posted by Midnight February 29th PST.

Judging:
All entries will be exclusively judged by Randofo based on successful completion, originality, and overall execution of the Instructable. Winners will be announced on or around March 1st.

I'm pretty sure this will be my last submission for this challenge. I doubt i'll get another audio related idea before the challenge ends.

So here is my Arduino Based Simon Says Game. Enjoy!

Would a project where you take a once audible device and make into something no longer audible work?

This is Stage 1 of a lengthy project. So far, it's mostly "hacking" in the sense of cutting things apart, but I think it qualifies.

Here's my third kick at the cat... This is a hack of another instructable hack. It's also about cleaning vinyl records, only with a little more attitude.

Enjoy.. And as always, no wrong answer.

I'm not sure if my project meets the requirements for this challenge, but I created a Mobile Phone/MP3 Player "Hoodie" & Texting Gloves. The hoodie has a front pouch that allows the user to neatly wrap up the headphone cord when not in use (its held down with velcro).

Here is the follow up to my Cheap and Easy MP3 Interface for Arduino:

http://www.instructables.com/id/Cheap-and-Easy-MP3-Shield-for-Arduino/

This Instructable describes making a single sided PCB Shield for the MP3 interface. It simplifies the circuit and the build. If you have never etched a PCB before, this is certainly a good one to start with and sets up the tools for making your own quick Arduino shields...
