Step 2: Mixing

Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F.

Mix 2 cups of flour with 2 cups of sugar, 3/4 cup of cocoa powder, 2 tsp of baking powder, 1 pinch of salt, 1 tsp of espresso powder and 1 1/2 tsp of natron in a bowl. Give it a good stir.

Add 1 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of oil, 2 eggs and 2 tsp of sugar. Mix everything and lower the speed of your mixing machine.
Boil water.

Step 3: Just Add Water

Now pour 1 cup of boiling water into the dough and mix it on the highest speed.

Prepare your baking tin. Make sure that you get everything covered with butter otherwise the cake will stick to the baking tin and won´t come out.

Bake the cake for about 35-45 minutes.

Let it cool down for a few minutes and remove it from the tin.

Step 4: Cut the Cake

When the cake is cold cut it horizontal into two pieces.

Step 5: Chocolate Filling

Now you need to prepare the chocolate filling.

Mix 1 cup of cocoa powder with 1 1/2 cups of butter, 5 cups of confectionarys sugar, 1/2 cup of milk and 2 tsp of vanilla sugar. Mix it until it´s a smooth paste. Add it to the lower piece of the cake. It should stick to the cake like on the picture.

Step 6: Fill It

Fill the cake with the icing. Put the second cake on top of the icing. Fill the rest of the icing into a icing bag and decorate the cake with the rest of the icing.
