Introduction: The (N)ice Necklace

Picture of The (N)ice Necklace

How do you cool off on those sweltering summer days?

... and look cool at the same time?

Step 1: Get Some Ice Cube Trays

Step 2: Fill Them With Water

Step 3: Fill Them With Necklace

Make sure your necklace is submerged in the cube slots, so that each cube will hold onto the chain as long as possible.

you can use any string, chain etc.

but, if you use a necklace you already have, when the ice melts- you are still wearing a nice necklace.

if you have a clasp make sure its not in the water.

Also, a longer necklace works best because the droops into the ice cubes will shorten the length a bit

Step 4: FREEZE IT

Step 5: Remove Your Necklace

Whooooo! Its a hot day. time to put on that necklace. Crack your ice cubes out of the tray and remove.

This is a great idea. Thanks for sharing! I can imagine marathon runners being interested in this. Or put one on your dog if it's hot out. I'm always cold unfortunately :(
