You want to REALLY freak out someone who pays attention to signs?

A local Italian restaraunt has this set up with their bathrooms and I hesitated to leave for fear of walking into the wrong one:

Leave the outside signs as they are, but on the INSIDE of the door, place an exact duplicate of the sign that appears on the outside of the OTHER bathroom.

This means, you walk into the MEN's bathroom, but as you go to walk out, you see that the door APPARANTLY leads INTO the Women's bathroom......this really threw me for a few moments.....but I found it hilarious then when I found out the owner just has a warped sense of humor :-)

Oops! I finished reading the step, and found the instructions. I have to read the whole step before commenting.

i would just print the signs on sticker paper and stick them over the signs.

A more interesting prank would be to replace the signs but just switch out either part the graphic or the wording.  The female figure with MEN...wait...on second thought...

If you have ever been to the "C" concourse at the Las Vegas airport, it is easy enough to walk into the women's bath by accident without anyone switching the signs.  I have done it.  (There are two sets of bathrooms near to each other.  One set is the mirror [reversed] arrangement of the other.  I forgot where I was and did not look closely enough.  When I said, "Oops!  I am in the wrong place." one woman said, "No, you can stay."

 Was the woman, "interested?"
Mar 11, 2010. 6:06 AMPhil B says:
She was not seriously interested in me, but perhaps in a man, in any man.

Did you stay?!   ;)
Mar 10, 2010. 3:10 PMPhil B says:
No, I left.  I was embarrassed for my mistake.  She was not my type.  I did have a plane to catch.  And, my wife was expecting to meet up with me again in just a very few minutes.

I am the pastor of a local church.  Every few years I have someone in my office who strayed outside their marriage vows or whose spouse strayed.  There is a lot of sadness, regret, and brokenness afterward.  Helping people pick up the pieces after someone strayed shows you a side of infidelity you do not see on most TV shows or movies tantalizing viewers with the prospect of a passionate forbidden evening.

Oh no don't get me wrong I take that stuff VERY seriously. I was just asking as a joke.
Mar 10, 2010. 5:10 PMPhil B says:
I am glad you take these things very seriously.  That will make your life better in many ways.  I thought it was funny the way this woman very directly said, "You can stay."  It was probably seven or eight years ago, but it still makes me laugh.
