Introduction: The Pocket Survival Kit

Making a pocket survival kit is simple. It is easy to carry for it is the same weight as a I-Phone 6. The video above (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cal7YRJriRgis) a great video on showing you how to construct the pocket survival kit.

Step 1: Place All Your Gear in an Altoids Box

Put bandages, first aid gear, a small pocket knife, the UST Survival Card, and 24 gauge wire. Wrap the 24 gauge wire around a pencil that is broken in half. For now you have your survival kit.

Add a pencil sharpener. You can make fire tinder with your pencil or twigs.

Not a bad idea, but you may have a hard time trying to get that to fit in your kit...I knife will do just fine making pencil sheddings.
