It's the so called 'SOCK STOVE'!
More words aren't necessary. This is what it is: maybe the best outdoor stove you've ever had!
All you need:
- a flexible aluminium ventilation tube (or flexible alu pipe)
- some metal wire
and, of course
- a fresh wooden stick
- your survival cook pot
Step 1: Preparing the tube
Slip one end over your pot and bend the other end in a 'sock' or 'L'-shape.
Solidify the sock with some metal wire - always to have in your kit - and fix it to a fresh wooden stick (I used bamboo in this demo version).
Make a lot of small holes in the sock.
Fix the stove to the ground.
Ready to burn!
Step 2: Start cooking!
Fill the combustion chamber.
Put your meal in the pot, light your fire and start cooking!
You'll have the best result if you blow a while in the chamber. The fire will burn fast, and your hunger will be stilled sooner.
For example: it took me ten minutes (!) with this stove to heat half a liter of water enough to prepare a meal, using only a handful of firewood.
Enjoy this one, and thanx for watching!
