The "Third Hand Stand" is a soldering Iron stand with two additional slots for working positions.

Step 1: Soldering to a Circuit Board

The stand is useful when applying solder to a circuit board allowing you to use your hands to hold the solder and or any other item needed to work.

Step 2: The Horizontal Position

This position is useful when soldering two wires together.
did you just drill a hole for the pipe or did u glue it somehow also
Ideas are attacking me! help!!
cool! i would do this, but i have a cordless soldering iron. just about one week, now the button is some how messed up, and it has to be pushed hard :-(
That actually sounds like an ideal situation. Replace the messed-up button with a 1/4" or 1/8" socket so you can plug in a foot switch.
