-Duct tape (strong)
-Big Box (for body)
-Smaller Box (head)
-3 dryer vents (as long as your arms)
-strong scissors
-2 cans of Spray Paint (body)
-pencil
-newspaper
-thin, tall box (for candy)
-strongish string

Optional
-Masking Tape
-1 small size spray paint (accents)
-compass

Step 2: Preparing

With the box upside down, with all the tape off (so both ends of the box are open). (Picture 1)
Cut all four flaps off the bottom of your costume. (Picture 2)
Flip the box back over, and cut the front and back flaps on the top off. (Pictures 3 and 4)

Step 3: Planning

Draw the pattern shown on Picture 1.

To do this accurately follow the steps on the other pictures.

Step 4: Cutting!

Cut on the lines you just made. Now you should have something similar to Picture 1.

Now draw a shape to let your head and shoulders through, and cut it. (Picture 2)

Step 5: Tape

Tape around your cuts for padding

Step 6: Attach the Candy Box

To attach the candy box:

Put the candy box inside the body box. Make sure that it is aligned with the top of the body box. (Picture 1)

On the bottom of the candy box, punch two slits for tape to go through. (Picture 2)

String the tape through the slits, making a tight loop around the candy box, securing it to the big box. (Pictures 3 and 4)

Step 7: Shoulder Straps

To make the shoulder straps:

String the tap through the same hole as the candy box tape. (Picture 1)

Pull the tape though the inside of the box, and fold the tape in half where the straps are to be. (Try to leave jest enough space to let your arms in comfortably.) (Picture 2)

Tape the rest of the tape back around the box (pic 3)

Now, on the top of your box (picture 4), tape two pieces of duct tape sideways. (pic 5)

Now tape two diagonal pieces there as shown in picture 6.

Tape one last piece of tape underneath where the shoulder strap connects to the top. (pic 7)

Do this to both sides.

Step 8: Cut the Candy Hole!

Trace a circle that is the width of your dryer vent. (Picture 1)

Cut this circle out. (Picture 2)

If you haven't already cut through the candy box, then do so. (Picture 3)

Step 9: Spray Painting

Put tape to cover all the rips/tears

Draw the areas you want as accents (Picture 1)

Set up an area for spray painting and spray paint the box in the general area you want to be accented (with the accent colored paint). (Picture 2)

Wait until the paint dries and put masking tape in the shape of your design. (Pictures 3 and 4)

Tape the top flaps of the body box together. (Picture 5)

Find a head box that will fit, and cut the holes for your eyes. (Picture 6)

Tape this box down, and cut wherever you need to. (Pictures 7 and 8)

Now spray paint the whole thing with the body paint. (Picture 9)

After the paint dries, peel off the tape (if you put any) (Picture 10)

Italics = optional

Step 10: Attach Arms and Candy Chute

Put tape on the pointy parts of the dryer vents.

Stick one dryer vent into the candy box. It should fit if you traces your circle. If it is two loose, tie it on.

Tape/tie the loose end to the head box.

Take 2 dryer vents. On both of these, cut a hole on one end. (Cut this hole where the tape is.)

Poke two holes on either side of the body box, just underneath the arm hole.

Tie the arms to the box, using these holes.

Step 11: Done!

Add whatever decorations you want, and then you're done!

Make sure to tell everyone to put candy in the chute!
