As long as you're posting a project you published after the challenge began, you're fine. Guides don't work for the weekly challenges, as this is already a guide.

Read the rules if you're unsure.

Nope not food packets! But I will say it is some kewl stuff! To see what everyone is doing with the stuff go to Google at the top right hand side of your screen and type in Sugru. You would be surprised at what they made.
