Introduction: The World's Best "Soft" Chocolate Chip Cookies
My kids wanted to bake chocolate chip cookies. My young son said "Mom, we need to make the world's best chocolate chips cookies." I said "ok, Christopher, let's find a recipe for them on the internet" and we searched "The World's Best Chocolate Chip Cookies." We found a delicious recipe which we have made several times, with a little tweeking and custom-made changes. We think we now have them perfected!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Gather together your ingredients.
4 1/2 c all purpose flour
3 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups butter, softened
1 1/2 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
2 packages instant vanilla pudding mix
2 tsp vanilla
4 c semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt and set aside. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.
