The making of The Bird & The Bee - Marquetry Fine Art

I am an artist. I cut and assemble various wood species to form a picture.
This rare art is called "Marquetry". A laser engraver machine was involved in creating this piece.
Very few people know what marquetry is, so I decided to make a fun movie to share with you of how I make it.
In this movie the bird and the bee are the main characters, interacting with Debbie (my favorite narrator), to illustrate the 5-step process I used to make The Bird and The Bee.

By the way, this design "The Bird and The Bee", not the movie, won first place in DevianArt's "My Art is Cute" contest last year.

Marquetry is best seen in person. I am exhibiting my works at Art-A-Fair Fine Art Festival in Laguna Beach, California. It is a nine-week art festival that will end on Sept. 2nd, 2012. Here is the website:
