I love this! I've made so many for my friends... What I've started doing is using old newspaper inside a plasti pocket, then taping the flaps around the front. Great instructable!

Thank you so much for posting this! I've been in need of a new wallet for a while now but didn't want to spend a bunch,; this was great because I used some cute card stock I had on hand. I did have a little trouble when it came to folding/tucking the flaps, but the video tutorial was much easier for me to understand than pictures and a written description. *Note: To make it more durable (and decorative, lol) I inserted a contrasting shade of card stock to the area where the cards go. I also covered it with packing tape (the clear kind of tape) to make it somewhat water resistant.*

This is great, this is the first i have seen of this site, it is awesome. I made a wallet out of paper first then upgraded to cardboard from a cereal box it is more durable i like that it needs no tape. 100% recycled. Peace Love Jakethink

wow, i guess i am worse at following instructions than i thought. i tried to make this seven times. and my closest try came up with the money holder and credit card holder on opposite sides....

Good, but I've gone better. On the fist fold go 1/3 or 1/4 inch short of half. For the long side fold it in half (cash pocket). Then on the short side (credit card pocket), fold a lip (1/3 or 1/4 inch deep)and, fold this side even with the bottom of the cash pocket. Now fold it all in half to form the spin of the wallet. Open the spin and the first fold and face the pockets to the table top. Fold the tabs (1/3 or 1/4 inch) across both pockets and ends. Refold the first crease and tuck the credit pocket into the cash pocket tabs. Adjust the tabs and spin as needed. If you need to, you can glue the inside of the cash pocket tabs.

Awesome. Almost better than a duct tape wallet... wait... you could cover the paper with duct-tape, and then make a 2 minutes duct-tape wallet....
