This is a spin on the Cartesian Diver. The match heads are similar but not exactly the same. They are porous and hold varying amounts of air. Thumb pressure on the bottle neck compresses the air changing their buoyancy so they float at different levels. robotic regards, Tom

Hi, It works with the pressure of water. Applying, then a finger forces the matches to sink. Just try it. Bottle have to be really full of water ;-D
