Tintin's Rocket Costume. Disfraz De Cohete De Tintin.

In this instructable I will show you how to make, in an afternoon, an easy costume-bag with no complications.

En este intructable os enseñare como he hecho en una tarde, un sencillo saco-disfraz para bebe sin compricarme mucho la vida.

Step 1: The Bag. El Saco.

All you need is a red (or orange) and white padded fabric. Cut a strip of red fabric with twice the width of the baby and three times their height. Also cut two pieces that will be the wings of the rocket. Sew the fabric to form a bag like you can see in the pictures.

Lo unico que necesitas es una tela acolchada roja (o naranja) y otra de color blanco. Recorta una tira de la tela roja con el doble de anchura del bebe y el triple de su altura. Recorta tambien dos trozos que seran las alas del cohete. Cose la tela formando un saco como el que ves en las imagenes.

Step 2: The Rails. Los Railes.

With the bag inside out, paint a straight vertical lines from top to bottom of the bag. Calculate the separation between them by measuring the width of the bag and figuring that out about 7 per side rails. Cut them with scissors, leaving a hole through the top and bottom edge.

Con el saco del reves, pinta unas lineas rectas verticales de arriba a abajo del saco. Calcula la separacion entre ellas midiendo el ancho del saco y calculando que salgan unos 7 railes por cada lado. Recortalos con unas tijeras, dejando un hueco hasta el borde tanto arriba como abajo.

Step 3: The White Strips. Las Tiras Blancas.

Cut strips of white cloth with the same width as the rails of red fabric and twice the width of the bag length. With 7 or 8 strips will suffice. From these strips go between the rails forming a kind of loom. When you've completed the front, turn it over and follow behind.

Corta tiras de la tela blanca con la misma anchura que los railes de la tela roja y dos veces el ancho del saco de largura. Con 7 u 8 tiras sera suficiente. Vete pasando estas tiras por entre los railes formando una especie de telar. Cuando hayas completado la parte delantera, dale la vuelta y sigue por detrás.

Step 4: The Neck. El Cuello.

For the neck, folds inward at two corners of a face, and sew them to the bag. Do the same with the other side.

Para el cuello, dobla hacia dentro las dos de las esquinas de una cara, y coselas al saco. Haz lo mismo con la otra cara.

Step 5: The Cap. El Gorro.

Fold a piece of cloth and paint the nose of the rocket that will make cap. Cut it out and sew the edges. Must seem a kind of cone.

Dobla un trozo de tela y pinta el morro del cohete que hara de gorro. Recortalo y cose los bordes. Deberá quedarte una especie de cucurucho.

Step 6: The Rocket. El Cohete.

And now this. Now it's the hardest part: Getting the baby is still inside the bag.

Y ya esta. Ahora toca la parte mas dificil: Conseguir que el bebe se esté quieto dentro del saco.
