Hello! In this instructable I will be teaching you the steps to make a tiny elevator. I got the idea because I recently bought 4 chickens. I decided to get creative and made a small elevator for them, because, why not? So the materials are:

- A fidget spinner

- A a glue gun

- Cardboard

- Scissors

- 2 pairs of small magnets

- Thread

- A wooden stick

- Tape

- Pen

Step 1:

The first step is to cut out cardboard pieces for the exterior of the elevator. The ones across from each other should be the same size. Cut out the pieces of cardboard depending on the size you want your elevator to be. Glue together the pieces with the glue gun.

Step 2:

To make the elevator box, you need to cut-out 4 pieces of cardboard and glue them together to make an incomplete box. They must all be the same size. The fifth piece of cardboard must the size of the other ones plus a half. Mark a line with a pen to separate where the piece of cardboard the same size as the other ends and the extra half starts. Fold it there. Paste it in the box and fold it towards the place where the sixth side would be, as shown in the picture of the next step.

Step 3:

Grab the two pairs of magnets and glue two on the "door" and two to the sides in front of it. Attach them with thread or glue gun, or both. Make sure they are attached firmly, or they might fall off when pulled apart.

Step 4:

Near the top of the big rectangle, make two holes; one on each side. Pass the wooden stick through them, and attach a part a piece of thread with tape. Spin the stick so part of the thread is spiraled around the stick. Paste the other end of the thread to the elevator box.

Step 5:

Grab the spinner. On one side of the stick, paste the bearing(the middle, spinning part) with the glue gun to the box, making sure the glue doesn't get in the holes, or it won't be able to spin. on top of it put the lid of it, and enter the stick though its hole.

On the other side of the box, grab the exterior of the spinner and paste it to the stick with the glue gun. That way, when you spin it one way, the elevator will rise, and when you spin it the other, fall.

Step 6:

Paste a piece of cardboard to the back of the elevator, so the chicken won't fall off. Don't put it all the way to the top, because that's the way the chicken will be exiting the elevator.

Have fun making! Hope you enjoyed this instructable.
