To open a beer bottle with another bottle

Its Easy
This is how you open a beer bottle with another - and then how to open the final one! conundrum solved. make sure you open the right bottle though or you will get beer all over you - something that happens with an increased chance after you've had a few (as I unfortunately found out after a few).

Handy! You can never have too many methods for opening a beer...I hardly ever go to a BBQ without at least three "wearable" openers...two in my shoes, and one in my ring.

Plus there's the keychain opener, the multi-tool opener, the regular bottle opener tied to the cooler in case all of those fail...actually an opener built into the side of at least one of the coolers...then there's the bottle opener built into my barbeque spatula if I happen to be the host...

And...er...I...Hmm....

Say, anyone know if there's an instructable on identifying potential indicators of alcoholism?

You're drinking Stella...?
The same principle is demonstrated elsewhere on the internet - see if you can find how to open a bottle with paper (I forget where I found it)

... and what's wrong with one of the better Belgian lager beers?
Apr 14, 2007. 5:16 PMlemonie says:
You'd put Stella in the 'better' catergory? If you're not referring to stella, please clarify what you're saying. Assuming you are referring to Stella: how many different Belgian beers have you drunk?
Apr 14, 2007. 6:00 PMAlfonsVH says:
I'm not saying that it's one of the better Belgian beers, I'm saying that it's one of the better Belgian lager (Pilsner-style) beers.

Since I am Belgian, I've drunk quite a lot of different beers already. I guess Jupiler is the best pilsner beer, Stella the second best (or so).

Personally I prefer Westmalle Tripel or an Rochefort 12° as the best Belgian beers, but of course they're not pilsner-style beers, so I don't count them to the same category.

Perhaps you live in Belgium, where the Stella is better? Over here it is also known as "wife-beater"... I like Jupiler too. L

Indeed I do live in Belgium; I'm not sure if it tastes any different. Could you please clarify Stella's nickname?
Apr 15, 2007. 10:03 AMlemonie says:
Based upon the the fact that it's relatively strong, and people drink it to get drunk: the connection is made with domestic violence. That is, drinking Stella all night may leave a person in the mood for beating their wife. It is a (joke) nickname.
Apr 15, 2007. 3:18 PMAlfonsVH says:
I see. Well, in comparison with other Belgian beers, it isn't that strong, so I didn't get it the first time. (Westmalle Tripel is 9,5% and Rochefort 12 is 11,5% ; but those are about the strongest beers we have as far as I know)

See here for someone who seems to like Stella:

Now, I heard that the connection between Stella Artois and spousal abuse had more to do with cockney rhyming slang (eg "take a butchers" (butcher's hook) for "take a look") tying in abused spouse Stella (nee) Dubois from the play Streetcar Named Desire, whose husband Stanley is often depicted in the sleeveless undershirt popularly termed "wifebeater".
