Tomahawk

Published

Introduction: Tomahawk

About: Hi, I'm stephen, I'm a certified welder, working on my machinists cert, and working part time at a hardware store. Mixing in all of that with my hobbies of blacksmithing and knifemaking, only makes for more...

Handmade tomahawk.

Head is mildsteel wrapped and welded, witha 1084 bit welded in.  I sanded it to 220 and coldblued it for rust protection and looks.

Handle is curly maple, 14" long.

Stay tuned, I'll do a tut for this next time I make one. Also, find Eagleeyeforge on Facebook to see all of my projects.

What is your cold-bluing process? I am not very familiar with it.
