The European love mulled wine which they said it would help when you caught a cold. Among so many variations I learned from my European family, this one is what we often make at home.
Step 1: Ingredients
640 ml - 1 whole bottle of red wine
About 8-10 green cardamom
3-4 cinnamon sticks
About 1 tbsp of cloves
freshly cracked 5-6 whole allspice
Step 2: Method
Place everything into a pot and bring to boil on high heat
Quickly reduce heat to low and let simmer for 8 minutes
Pour into serving glass and add sugar of your choice (regular white, cane, brown, or even sweetener - whichever you prefer).
