Tooth Monster Pillows

Tooth Monster Pillows
When my son lost his first tooth we didn't have a tooth pillow ready, so when his second tooth started getting loose we collaborated on a one-of-a-kind Tooth Monster. I suggested a tooth-shaped pillow and my son decided it should look like a hungry monster who craves little kid teeth.

Step 1

Cut out 2 pieces of fabric in the shape of a tooth. Make sure not to make the root legs too skinny.

Next, have your kid design a tooth monster face. Cut out fabric in the colors and shapes they indicated and allow them to arrange the pieces on the tooth. when they are pleased with their design, sew them to one tooth template fabric. For the mouth, sew only the sides and bottom to form a pocket. Just to be safe, we sewed an extra pocket inside the mouth.

I love this, kbvh. So cool. I didn't have a tooth pillow growing up, either (just put it under my pillow), but my future child will have one just like this!

As a dental student, I salute you! Bravo! Excellent! The only drawback I can think of is that you might scare the poo out of the tooth fairy!

That looks great. You can also use it as a warning about what happens to your teeth if you don't brush properly.

I have also never heard of a tooth-pillow, but that is a cool one.

Although, as a child, I think something like that on the end of my bed would have induced some disturbing dreams...

I have never heard of a tooth pillow. Is this some regional thing or yours? Which ever, it's lovely! Outstanding! ...and yours must be the best ever! =)
