Introduction: Transfer a Halo 3 Map From One Account to Another (Xbox 360)

This will help you transfer a (CUSTOM) Halo 3 map from one account "on an Xbox 360 hard drive" to another on that same hard drive. One way this technique can be useful is if you made a custom map on one of your non-xbox live accounts but you want to be able to play that map on xbox live with your friends.

Just a little heads up
During the instructions it will often say (Next Image) which means you can pick the next image in line so that you can see everything that I am doing

Step 1: Insert and Login

Insert Halo 3 into your Xbox 360 Console

The Xbox 360 Dashboard should appear on your television soon
Press right on your controller and select "Sign In"

It will bring you to a list of all the accounts on your xbox 360 hard drive
Pick the account that has the Xbox 360 custom map on it that you want to transfer
After you have logged on we can continue to The next step of Loading and Forging

Step 2: Loading and Forging

Now that you are signed in select Play Halo 3

Wait until you are at the Halo 3 Main Menu
(Next Image)
Move down to and select "Forge"
Once in forge Pick "MAP"
(Next Image)
It will bring up the list of the maps that are on that account on your hard drive
Pick the map that you want transfered
In my case SQUORES
Once the map is 100% loaded you are ready for the next step which is Changing Accounts

Step 3: Changing Accounts

Your map is 100% loaded
Now you should now press The Xbox Guide Button on your Xbox 360 controller

The Xbox 360 guide will pop-up in the middle of the screen
Once you see the guide Press X on your controller to "Sign Out"

Confirm that you want to sign out
(Next Image)
It will now display the xbox 360 guide but you are not signed in as anyone
Select Sign in
(Next Image)
Select the account that you want the map transfered to
In my case ElGandhi
You can now exit the guide
(Next Image)
You can now Start Forge so that you will be ready for the next step

Step 4: Transfering

You are now Forging the map that you want transfered

Press up on the Directional Pad
You will turn into the floating orb to edit the map
But you do not need to edit it in any way
Press Start

You will be brought to a menu screen
From here select Save As New Map
You will then agree to something important
(Next Image)
You can name it what you would like
Hit Start when you are done
Then you can exit forge and continue to the final step

Step 5: Playing

Now When you want to play that map on xbox live or with some friends you will find it in your library
