Step 3 Creating the pattern

 To create a pattern draw a line the length of your boot height creating the side seam.  Divide the mouth and ankle measurements in half and use the new measurements to draw lines at the top and bottom of the first line.  Using your ruler draw a line connecting the two new lines together.  Once you have created this shape add 1/2 inch seam allowance to the top bottom and side seam edges.  At the other side edge add a one inch overlap plus 1/2 inch seam allowance.
