Here you can learn how to make a Octagon turn into a deadly throwing star!

What you need, 8 square pieces of paper, i used 8 3.5" pieces.
Some folding skills, Mine are some mad skills.

I have some videos Uploaded but i dont have sounds on them so ill run how to do it in steps.

Step 1: Lets Begin the Basic Folds

Heres the first step

fold the paper in half, then fold it across in both directions.
Open the paper back up.

Step 2: Making the Peices

now that you made your basic folds we are going to move on to the more difficult folds (their not hard though)

now with your square fold the top 2 corners inward along the hotdog line you made in the last step. as seen in picture one

now fold along the hotdog line to make picture #2 keeping the folded corners inside.

Now with this step its hard to explain but easy to do. You need to push the buttom corner up and into the paper to make it look like picture #3. If this is hard to understand watch my video.

NOTE: do step one and two 8 times in order to finish the star.!

Step 3: Lets Put It Together

now that you have 8 of the peices done lets put the start together

first we have to slide one of the pieces into the other's backend, look to picture one for help

then after you've done that, fold the top of the corner into the backend of the other one, see picture 2

do this 8 times to get picture 3

slide the piece inward to get picture 4
