Introduction: Turkey Burger (Low-Fat!)

The turkey burgers I will be instructing you on how to make are inexpensive and very low fat. People that make these are usually dieters but I eat them every chance I get because they are quick, easy, and delicious!! I learned how to make them from  my mother when I was complaining about what to eat and she was only willing to make me what she was making for herself. When I saw the turkey burgers they did not look very promising to me but when she started cooking them the smell was overwhelming! I had to learn how to make them. So after I tasted the turkey burger, I had to have more! I hope you have the same reaction to these delicious turkey burgers as I did!

Step 1: The Items and Ingredients You Will Need to Make the Turkey Burger

You will need a small frying pan, spatula, Olive Oil cooking Spray, frozen turkey burger patty, a slce of Provolone Cheese, minced onions, garlic powder, Salt&Pepper, and one large or medium sized bowl.

Step 2: Thaw the Turkey Burger

You will need to take the turkey burger patty (still in the packaging!) and submerge in a bowl of hot water to thaw. Leave it in the water until the patty is soft but still cool as if you just took it out of the refrigerator.

Step 3: Seasoning

After it is thawed, open the top of the package and, while the patty is still in the package, sprinkle some salt, pepper, garlic powder, and minced onions on top. (we will repeat the seasoning on the other side of the patty while it is in the frying pan so don't over-do it!)

Step 4: Start the Cooking and the Second Seasoning

Spray the Olive Oil Cooking Spray all over the inside of the pan then plop the patty, seasoned side down, onto the pan then turn burner on the 4 setting. Repeat the seasoning on the unseasoned side.

Step 5: Get Ready to Flip!

As the burger cooks, juices will come out from around the patty and turn white. Wait till the juices have stopped coming out then, with the spatula, srape the white from around the burger and throw it away. After you are done with the scraping and making sure the juices are gone flip the patty over.

Step 6: Cheese Time

Once you have flipped the burger pace the provolone cheese slice on top of the patty. Wait till the cheese is melted enough to where it cannot be removed and is melting just a little onto the pan. When you are sure the cheese is melted and the patty is cooked well-done you can remove it from the pan and enjoy! :)
