Step 1: Chop Up the Turtleneck Sweater

Cut out the sleeves and turtleneck of the gray sweater.

Step 2: Chop Up the Black Sweater

I used an old sweater as a template to cut out the bodice from the black sweater.

Step 3: Cut Out the Skirt

I used an old pencil skirt as a pattern to cut out the skirt from the gray sweater.

Step 4: Attach the Sleeves

I attached the sleeves to the bodice using the flat technique.

Step 5: Attach the Turtleneck

With right sides together, attach the turtleneck to the bodice.

Step 6: Attach the Skirt

Attach the skirt to the front and back bodice.

Step 7: Sew the Sides of the Dress

Sew the sides of the dress from the sleeve cuff to the bottom of the skirt.

Step 8: Enjoy Your Dress

You can make this dress in an afternoon and wear it out to dinner. Enjoy your dress.
