Turn pop cans into cups in 3 easy steps!

Step 1: Stuff You Need

12 oz. pop can
Can opener - The old kind that cuts into the can
Pliers or Sand paper

Step 2: The Cup

"Open" the pop can like you would a normal tin can. Make sure you cut into the top of the pop can.

Step 3: Smooth the Sharp Edges

Some times you may get a sharp edge from the can opener. Smooth the sharp edges out with the pliers or sand paper. This will prevent you from accidentally cutting your lip.

Step 4: Clean the Cup

Wash the cup with soap and water.

Step 5: Your New Cup!

You now have a practically free cup made from a pop can! Also this can be used for other things too for instance a candle holder or mabye a pencil holder.
I had this same idea! I use these for ash trays for my car! I had a pontiac sunfire that didn't have any ash trays! They are quick and cost nuthin!
You can also cover the can with some scrap booking paper or something to glam it up!
I've done this to Monster cans

Very nice! Back in the day when I was a smoker, I used to make ashtrays out of soda cans whenever there were no ashtrays available.

These would be great for camping or the picnic basket as they are lightweight. Easy and simple.

Cool! Now you don't have to buy expensive recycled things! And you have a cool cup!
