How to Turn a Beer Bottle Into a Colorful Flower Vase

This tutorial will show you how to transform a beer or wine bottle into a fun, modern, and colorful flower vase.

Consider using different size and shaped bottles and various colors and textures of yarn to create a unique arrangement!

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies.

For this project you will need:

1) An empty and clean beer bottle. You can leave the labels on.

2) Glue that dries clear. (Elmer's glue works the best)

3) Yarn. You can choose any color or texture you like!

Step 2: Start at the Top and Glue the Yarn to the Bottle

Add a small strip of glue to the top of the bottle and press the end of the yarn into the glue.

Step 3: Wrap the Yarn Around the Bottle

Begin to wrap the yarn around the bottle making sure not to leave any gaps; you don't want the labels to peek through! It's ok if the glue seeps though, it will dry clear.

When you get to the bottom of the neck, place a small strip of glue on to help the yarn stick to the curve of the bottle.

Step 4: Continue to Wrap Until You Reach the End of the Bottle Then Cut and Glue the Yarn Into Place.

Continue to wrap (and glue, if necessary) until you get to the bottom. When you've reached the bottom, place a small strip of glue on the bottle and cut the yarn. Press the yarn into the glue.
