this is a very easy way to turn a boring old wooden stool into an exciting and fun work of art.  
i painted this one using painters tape and outdoor patio paint.

Step 1:

unscrew stool top from the legs

This is awesome! I am so gonna keep an eye out for stools at garage sales and thrift shop stores so I can jump on the opportunity to create this! It wasn't expensive to make was it?

thank-you and no not expensive at all, as long as you have the stool all you need is the swivel and a small piece of plywood

thank-you Penolopy :) the last ones have had a lot of use and they still swivel like nobody's business. the colourful one is for playing checkers in the garden
