This is my first instrucatble, so go easy lol

SSD also works, however they are usually plastic, but they do have more room inside. HDD feels more solid.

There are a number of options, depending on your shop's equipment.
First, the easiest and most expensive, Use a shop press to press the bearings out.
Second, most likely to have, is a drill press. Chuck up a short steel rod of just under the diameter of the bearing, then use the drill to press it out.
Third, you can CAREFULLY use a vice, rod, and spacer to press it out.
Finally, and this is definitely the cheapest, you can drill a hole in a board large enough to pass the hub. Grab a bolt of the right size, and HAMMER the bearings out. If you don't even have a drill, set the hdd case so the hub area is suspended between two boards, and hammer it out that way. This method WILL ruin the bearings though, so when you're done, just toss them.\
The upshot is, you get a lot more storage. The downside is, you have to figure another way to attach the cover.
