I always wanted to say something like that.

It would be neat if you could write music onto a cassette with a usb flash drive
aqwiz in reply to lolcat360May 21, 2009. 5:35 AM
better still take apart a casette deck adaptor for a cd player/other devices and build a usb mp3 player into that, then just push play, and stick it in your cassette deck, hours of tunes on a single cassette, and no crap quality either!

i had a USB floppy. but i forgot it in my pants pocket so it melted.
crapflinger says: Sep 8, 2008. 2:25 PM
it would be better if you hid the sliding bit more...instead of having a huge hole in the side of the case
bumpus (author) in reply to crapflingerSep 8, 2008. 3:48 PM
True, but it is functional..
crapflinger in reply to bumpusSep 9, 2008. 5:08 AM
true....but form shouldn't be sacrificed for function in a "non essential" item
bumpus (author) in reply to crapflingerSep 9, 2008. 2:05 PM
True.

you could cut a small slot in the top big enoh for a toothpic instead of on the side, and glue a toothpic to the back of the USB drive and have the toothpic come out the top so you could just push the toothpic.

ouch! lol

I did this last year but never bothered documenting it. I made mine so the USB was hidden until you turn one of the spindles, and then it popped out.
bumpus (author) in reply to whatsisfaceSep 8, 2008. 3:05 PM
:P You should have posted it.
Gjdj3 says: Sep 7, 2008. 4:51 PM
Sweet! That looks really cool. I have a whole bunch of old tapes I could do this with. 5 stars and favorited.
