Sirvio de inspiracion las libelulas que Circundan Nuestros rios y Lagunas Colombianas.

I Give you Libelulamp.

Step 1: Smashing Pumpthings.

I´ve told you before that I got no time...? Well i took my sledge hammer and break some electronic stuff...I hope something good will arise of all this mess,
What I´ve found? some electronic parts of an old mouse Cooper wire...lets have fun.

Step 2: USB ADAPTER UPGRADE.

sIMPLY i oPEN UP THE usb ADAPTER AND SOLDERING TWO WIRES TO THE OUTPUT TERMINALS. aT THE OTHER SIDE i JUST SOLDER THE LED AND ENTER IN A PLASTIC CAPSULE.AND FIX IT TO THE TOES OF THE bUG.

Step 3: LOOKING FOR MODELS.

i´M LOOKING FOR MODELS TO MAKE the coolest lamp ever...and I saw some beautifull Dragonfly trapped in my neighbor window, ...That´s what Im talking about.

Step 4: The Body.

The first thing that I did is to look some electronic parts that match with the shapes of a Dragon fly and solderer them together.
First ,one Big bead of a necklace of a lady...( Don´t tell my wife), then a little bead from another necklace, then a resistor or transistor...I´m not sure...and so on, and so on, finally i put some cool cooper wire. first I stick them with a hot glue gun then with solderer iron.

Now the wings . i found some cool Copper Green thin wire, I draw the shape of the wing on a table, put some nails, and begin to make the shape of the wing, like an Spider web. This was the hardest part of the project.
Make 4 Wings of the same size, and when you finished just bend the tip to make the back Wings.

Step 5: The Legs.

Cut Three (3) pieces of copper wire of 1/8 of 14 mms, and make them a sharpened point ,then with the pliers bend to the middle and make the shape of the legs.
Here comes the fire, first I tried to solderer them together , ....But as solderer....I Totally sucks...so i had to weld them together with my Old Stick welder. It was a hard one...

Step 6: Wings.

I found some Green copper wire thin wire I´m gonna use to make the wings.
First draw the shape on a table, nail some little nails and start to weave or knit the wings, like a spiderweb. That´s all...Be patient it´s the hard piece of this project, wrap the four (4) Wing and fix them to the Body of the Dragonfly. Then solderer the Legs and cover with alittle microchip.

Step 7: The Light Bulb.

i DISASSAMBLE THE USB Adapter AND solderer the two wires (from a broken mouse) and solderer the led , I enter the led in a cup or little dome where some little Toys came, and fix it to the tiptoes of my dragonfly. finally Plug in and !VOILA...¡ It works....It´s so usefull toread in the night or when you got to Type in the night or privacy.
You could fix it to the screen o your pc witha Handle clip.
it´s just the beggining of an Army Iluminated Bugs.

Step 8: Put the Parts Together.

It´s time to join the parts of the Dragonfly, the best way to do that is to wrap it around with thin wire and then solderer, first the Wings, then the legs and finally the light Bulb.

Step 9: The Base of the Lamp.

5 pm ...I made the base of the lamp with some junk in my garage, and hang the Dragonfly by the middle of the Body. I´m thinking about some little dragon flies to use in Portatil computers Hanging them with clip handlers..
