Start pouring hot glue at the base of the casing and wait for it to solidify a little.
This will help hold the circuit board in place for the rest of the gluing.
Then, pump glue into the casing until it almost reaches the top.

get expandiple foam. put the flashdrive into the zippo and glue it only at the bottom. them put in some expandble fom. let it expand and cover the magnet in some. it will look a who lot neater. then you can squeeze a little super glue or epoxy into it to help it stay in.

I really like this idea, but am not a huge fan of filling it up with glue... I'm trying to think of a good way to use the zippo metal insert to hold the drive. I'm thinking...cut/trim the area around the flint and fuse so the drive can protrude through there. the rest of the casing would cover the filler inside that is securing the drive in place ( could still use glue) That way you also save the hinge. may give it a more "authentic" look. I may try this out...as soon as i find my old zippo
