These are some of the USB drives that I have modified.
Please comment or request more pictures. Not all of my USBs mods are shown here!
feel free to ask me how to make any one of them.
EDIT: I see people liked Giggle so I'll tell you how I modded it:
all I did was take off the casing, and it was already a really small USB drive:
Kingston 2gb data traveler mini fun
I was going to put some other case on it, but it was all sealed up- so I left it as it was. I recently have acquired a keyboard from a broken laptop. I will post some pictures when I finish modding it!
But yeah, it is really nice to have one that small; I take it with me everywhere I go! Now modding that could be embedding it instead of changing the case!
Oh yeah and I LOVE my Hp pavilion dv6707us!
UPDATE:
My laptop broke so I dont love it anymore,
And wow looking back I was soo weird and immature on this lol.
UPDATE:
Kingston stopped selling the mini fun.
If you still want a very small usb, go to:

Not as diy, but still cool.
lol. BIG, FAT Bertha
How do you take out the giggle? And I still wonder how you manage not to lose it. =P
If you look at the picture with Giggle and Sniggle together, you can see that Giggle has a longer metal piece the Sniggle, although it is only like a half inch or so.
i had one a little bigger than thegiggle.... i modded it into a Zippo lighter... its like a Cruzer cuz the wheel makes it pop in and out. you should have seen my teacher's face when i pulled out a zippo in the computer lab and plugged it right into the computer XD . ive wired a micro twin USB hub to two microSD drives {the fit is amazing} its 16 gigs and it also has portable apps installed with a zippo skin.
Another way to get a really tiny flash drive besides the Pico, etc., is to get a MicroSDHC that comes with a tiny USB adapter. You can then pull it right out of your SmartPhone and put it into an adapter the size of your Giggle. I have plans to embed some tiny USB drives in jewelery (someone just did something close. Check out: http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-a-millefiori-USB-flash-drive-jewel/ ) My way, you could embed the adapter, then upgrade or replace the chip.
i just got the flashdrive you showed from newegg but in 16 gig. i plan to stick it in a male usb plug so it looks like giggle... but 16 gig!
Lucky! ohh well, just got to wait until all my old USB drives die :)
i have one the size of giggle with a blue strobe light built inside of it so it looks just like yours but!! its 8GB
Probably this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820609296
here is my first upload instructable. I took a beltclip style cigarette lighter and made it into a fashionable holder for my thumbdrive

http://www.instructables.com/id/USB-Thumb-drive-flash-drive--MAKE-A-COOL-BELTCLIP-/
wrapping a flash drive in duct tape doesnt really count as a mod or a case. but the other ones are cool - I want to get a kingston data traveler now...
Yeah, I guess soo. I was doing that to stop it from getting ruined (Static Electricity) whil I thought of something to do with it. Oh and I modded my Kingston DT: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ now you know your ABC's, next time won't you sing with me!
Err... sorry for being.... weird.
?
I mean the name if the link.
oh.
yeah I saw that one - I wanted to try it, but my flash drive can barely fit into a return key from a standard keyboard (not laptop ones)
CHECK MY MOD OUT !!! HERE
I like Giggle. How did you do that? Did you build an all-metal case from scratch, or is it cleverly painted epoxy, or what?
Sorry guys- all I did was take off the casing, and it was already a really small USB drive:
Kingston 2gb data traveler mini fun
I was going to put some other case on it, but it was all sealed up- so I left it as it was. the only problem with those teensy ones is that you lose them so easily...
Yeah... But I am ok with it as long as my pocket has a zipper! Happy Birthday Max! Oh, I am working on the instructable for the one I showed you at school with the keys from the laptop keyboard. I'll post a picture!
Nice, some cool mods - Give giggle a vinyl/paint custom design
Nice! Check out my metal USB
Me Likes! looks durable, perfect for me! :) I'll have to try it.
Thanks! Be sure to post pics if you do.
post an Instructable on how you did giggle!! I would kill for a USB drive that small. Hope I wouldn't forget it in the computer though. :P
