Ultimate Breakfast Sausage

These sweet, sweet, delicious breakfast links are made from bacon, eggs, cheese, other sausages, hash browns, buttered toast & syrup! It's an entire Denny's Grand Slam Breakfast stuffed into one beautiful meat tube, bursting with flavor, fat, and that unmistakable taste of breakfast.

Also included in this Instructable is the recipe for Bacon Sausage, which was originally what I had intended to make, but got sidetracked with the Ultimate Breakfast Sausage. Why is it then that the title of this Instructable isn't Bacon Sausage? Perhaps because bacon sausage, and I can't believe I'm actually saying this, is too much of a good thing. Which is to say, that it's got so much fat in it, that it's barely a sausage at all, and that it poses some serious cooking and ingesting problems which preclude it from being an internet famous project.

most sausages in the raw form look slightly unappetizing but when cooked look fine as you can see in the later photos. These from my perspective look wonderful.

Well now.... a very popular link-sausage in Ireland is " Armagh Pork, Sage and Apple" and they are very yummy too, serve them with eggs any way you like, rashers of bacon, Black and White puddings, grilled tomatoes and mushrooms, Potato Cake, and Irish white soda bread and real butter, strong Irish tea and you have " An Ulster Fry" a traditional Ulster weekend breakfast or brunch !
You won't need to eat for days, if you can even move that is !

Those are great sausage ideas! A pizza sausage is perfectly natural since sausage pizza is already well established. Next time I fire up the grinder, I'm going to give pizza sausage a try.

Don't underestimate the "keep it cold" step. if you don't keep it cold, the fat will melt, and bind up the grinder.
