Uncard is a simple solution to the infamous earphone pocket tangle. Before attempting to make an uncard, however, there are two things you should know. One, it's ridiculously easy to make and to use....and two, it will probably make you smile.

Step 1Materials

Materials
You will need:

1 old or unused plastic card (gift card, rewards card, i.d., etc.)
1 rubber band (preferably thick and slightly smaller than your plastic card)
1 pair of earphones

Hardest part will be getting a rubber band that's just the right size... BUT, you could use a regular thin rubber band doubled up to make this work.

I would be concerned about a thin rubber band putting too much tension on the headphones. They're really fragile from my experience... I've had to buy about 6 pair in the 4 years that I've owned an iPod.

The weak part is the connection between the cord and the headphone plug so as long as it wasn't putting too much tension on that part, it wouldn't matter. If the band kept them exactly the way they were on the picture, it would put tension on the plug, but I don't know, I'd be scared that they would slip or something lol
