This instructable will show you how to easily make a belt buckles out of anything. From altoids tins to your favourite zebra photo anything can be a fashionable belt buckle The secret? Velcro!
Step 1: Things you'll need
ingredients for belt and buckle:
-belt (anything that has a wide buckle with a flat surface and nothing on it)
-velcro (heavy duty kind works best)
-item you want to buckleize(has to be small and light, a regular size boombox probably won't fit on your waist)
Step 2: Prepare the belt
First cut the hooked side of the velcro to the size of the buckle. Just align the velcro to the edges of the buckle and cut off the excess and if it has a weird shape like mine then cut out those shapes too. Then just take off the protective stuff and put it on the belt buckle surface.
Step 3: Make the buckle
All you have to do for this step is cut some of the fuzzy velcro (or felt) and put it on the back of the item you are buckleizing. if you are using felt use hot glue to attach to thing. then just put it on the belt and you're done!
Step 4: Get creative
Now go get creative! Turn whatever you want into a buckle and you can switch them out to whatever you want to wear.
