Introduction: Upcycle -Diy Cellphone Holder.
For this project Instead of throwing away an old pair of jeans I cut out the back pocket and made it into a cell phone holder specifically for when I charge my phone.Using the three r's:
Reduce-to make smaller or less amount.For instance,wasting less water than usual.
Reuse-use again.Finding a way to reuse things like using your cleaning supply containers to store grocery bags.
Recycle-recycling all plastic water bottles,soda cans,paper etc.These are later processed into something new and reusable.
UPCYCLE is not included in the three rs but is just as important because it basically includes using two or more of the three rs.
Upcycling and Recycling are different because upcycling is reusing something and making something new out of it.Recycling something allows it to go through a process in order for it to be a reusable substance again.
Step 1: Materials Needed
-A pair of jeans.
-Scissors.
-A needle.
-Thread.
Step 2: STEP 1
First,cut out the back pocket of your jeans.Make sure that it is the whole pocket so that it can hold your phone.
Step 3: STEP 2
Once you have cut out the pocket,then cut out the rim of your jeans like in the photo.
Step 4: STEP 3
After,you sew the strip onto the pocket like a a small purse.
Step 5: Finished Product.
