Introduction: Upcycle a Candy Wrapper Into a Kid's Coin Purse

About: When I was six, my parents bought me a marble contraption set, and I have been building stuff since! I love to tinker, mess with, and just build stuff in my free time!

Why waste your wrappers when you can build with them? This project is very simple and easy to make, is made from things found in your house, and takes less than 30 minutes to build! So go ahead, and start making your upcycled coin holder today!

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

You will need;

- Two king sized wrappers (I used hershey)

- A sewing machine with black thread

- And scissors

Step 2: Cutting the Pieces

First you will need to cut out the parts for the coin holder. Mark out and cut two sides for the coin holder, two rectangles with 2-3 inches in height and the exact same length as your two sides, and if you want, and extra pocket on the outside.

Step 3: Sewing the Wrapper

First you must take one of the two rectangles, and fold it over the flat part of one of the sides. Then, either stitch or sew it onto the top where you folded it over. Repeat this with the same other two parts. Once you have finished that, lay them both on top of each other, with the backs facing outwards. From there, sew around all of the sides except the top, keeping the stiching as close as you can to the edge.

Step 4: Finishing Touches

Once you are fully done, turn the whole thing inside out, and you are finished!!

Happy making!!!
