I had a bunch of my husbands ties I had to throw away so thought I would make a nice silk shirt with them. I love the competing patterns that make it interesting. The top part is an old spaghetti strap top that was too short. I sewed the ties on the outside of it because tie fabric is very thin. I have step by step photos but I dont know how to put those boxes in the photos I see everywhere or I would point things out. Sorry.

When you are creating your instructable just click on the picture you want to add info to. A box will pop up in the upper left corner and you can put your text in there. Then save it and drag and re-size the box over the area you want to highlight. My daughters taught me how to do that. I hope this helps. Deb

Great Idea!!! Love the look & think that ALL men should give their ties to the sewer in the family ASAP!!! You really have what it takes to come up with really great ideas that good as great as the thought you envisioned
