Use PS3 controller as PC game controller

For my birthday I got a laptop and wanted to put an emulator on it. I wanted to use a controller for it but didn't want to spend money on a controller, adapter, or anything else. So I decided to use my Ps3 dualshock 3 controller. If you are having trouble or don't understand something, leave a comment and I'll do my best to help. Thanks for viewing :)

Step 1 Software

For this to work you need the software which you can download here.  (Yes its free and for windows 7 32 and 64). Save the file. Then plug in the ps3 controller via usb and run the software application. Then you need to completely exit out of the DS3 tool and open it again.

If you want you can also use an emulator. (Im using project 64, can be found here).
Just download the emulator, download some roms, and your ready to go.

I'm trying to get this to work with bluetooth at the moment. If I figure it out then I'll make a version 2 on this, if not then I'll make sure I add more detail.

u need a bluetooth dongle. iv used it wired b4 and i taught a few people how to use it
