Share one or more photos of a project, recipe, or whatever you've made, quickly and easily.
After a final cleaning, the tile art will accept a coat or more of polyurethane varnish. This will make the tiles look like real ceramic tile. That choice is yours. Then you can use your art piece as organizers for art supplies, pens, pencils, etc. I used the square box "planter" to display some roses as shown.
This is a great idea! Do you think it would hold up to do a small backsplash for a bathroom? I have about 5" to "tile" and was tossing up doing a mosaic of painted squares...but this would be so much cooler!
I think it would work. I would seal it with maybe 3 coats of polyurethane, water based. Then when you cleaned it, be careful not to really scrub. would be a lot cheaper and easier, too! Let me know how it comes out. Cman
