This is a basic introduction to fusing glass. Fusing is a technique of joining pieces of glass together by melting them in a kiln.

gorgeous! I love fused glass. I really like the clear ones with leaves. I don't have the big bucks for the gigantic kiln. Someday I will make a parabolic solar kiln and maybe that could work.

Thanks. I have found that fused glass is a very versatile material to work with. The clear glass pieces you commented on have copper wire (inclusions) in them. The wire is outlining the leaves. A solar kiln sounds very cool. Let me know if that works.
