Utorrent mobile

 I recently discovered a method to run utorrent off of a flash drive (no installing!)

Step 1

 download these files and copy them to the root of your memory stick.

You're telling us that utorrent.exe will work from a Flash drive?. Does it need you to create an empty settings.dat, or will it not create one anyway?

 Ok here's how it works
1. the computer reads that you are selecting the utorrent exe and tries to find the utorrent program files.  
2. computer realizes that the drive does not contain the program files.
3. the utorent exe file also contains a short code for writing the program files itself with the settings.dat THIS IS WHY U NEED THE SETTINGS.DAT NAME IT THAT AND SAVE IT AS ALL FILES TO THE ROOT OF THE DRIVE...i've done it and it works 100%

I'm accustomed to programs that use .dat files creating them if they don't exist - I'm asking whether it fails to work if you don't create an empty .dat?

Yes, it created the .dat file it's self - you don't need to do that.

utorrent is already a free portable application
