Roman candles are some of the most fun and versatile fireworks available. They can be set off in any way, due to their tubular in-line magazine design. They can (with a certain amount of risk) be held and fired, and can be used in any number of different containers. This Instructable will teach you how to turn a roman candle, a tripod, and a piece of pipe into a full blown AUTOTURRET that will make your firework experience one of the most exciting!

Step 1: Materials

You will need: some roman candles, a tripod, a piece of 3/4 in. CPVC pipe, and some tape.

Step 2: Attach Pipe

Attach the pipe to the top of the tripod SECURELY using tape.

Step 3: Cover One End

Double over a piece of tape so it is no longer sticky. Next, tape it to one end of the pipe.

Step 4: Insert Roman Candle

Insert your roman candle, and you're done!!! Have fun and be safe with it!

Step 5: NOTE

Oh my goodness! The roman candles are being launched how far exactly? It looks like that device could take some serious stuff out with that kind of fire power. This is brilliant.

Now if only I could change the message of that one GIF file of John so it'd say: 'This is Brilliant,' instead of: 'This is stupid.' >:3
Thanks! Roman candles usually launch a couple hundred, or thousand feet. I really don't know the exact measurements, but it can kill someone, and burn down a house, so the utmost care is required.

I'm stealing your emoticon! :3 I like 'stupid' better. Its funnier. ;)
A THOUSAND FEET!!! :O :O :O :O

And how dare you steal my emoticon! Just kidding. :3 Yeah, 'stupid' is funnier, but for this situation putting that picture just doesn't make sense. :3
Haha, nice again mate! I see you still are sticking to the idea of using roman candles =D
Haha thanks! They are my favorite pyrotechics, so i rry to keep them the focus of my pyro projects. And by pyro i mean "having to do with firewoks." ;)
