This is my first Knex Weapon. I am hoping to make more soon, once I have sorted out the mechanisms. I will be building Russian Snipers, as I favour them.
The VSS, or "Vintorez" is one of the famous weapons used by the spetsnaz, the russian secret service. This is a very good stealth weapon, and one of THE best semi-auto snipers around. With a silencer around the barrel and the ability to take the gun apart, with simple slides, the VSS is an extremely effective weapon.
My knex version of the weapon, replicates many of the Key features of the VSS. The scope has been made to dimensions, and the stock has also been made similar. This is my prototype version, it does not fire yet, but I am hoping to get it to soon. The weapon is extremely customizable. Shown in this picture, is the first proto mods pack, of about 3 I will release. Most people should be able to copy most of the mods anyway. They include:
-VSS Scope Modification
-Display Bipod (Can support for battle)
-Dummy Laser
-M4 Carbine Battle Grips
The weapon also has a comfortable grip where you put your hand in position for firing.
I will keep working on the design, and will hopefully post it, if I can be helped.
NOTE - PLEASE RECCOMEND MECHANISM FOR GUN, I HAVE NOT FOUND A RELIABLE ONE YET.

I WILL be changing the stock, and arrangement of the magazine for a VSS style, but with these parts, the gun is extremely sturdy, due to the 5 layer layout.

Mikail Kalashnikov is the name of the maker of the AK-47, but the "AK-47" stands for "Avtomat Kalashnikova" with the 47 standing for the year it was built (1947). So he named the AK-47 after his own name.
I have made many knex guns but all have rubbish sights!
Please post an instructible on the making of the sight-Im desperate for a decent sight i can put on my guns!!
