This is a locket made from a contact lens case that can house a fragrance and or small sentimental object, a photo, a ring, a microSD, etc.

Step 1: Step 1

Parts List consist of 1. Plastic.contact lens case. 2. scissor. 3. scotch tape. 4. small piece of red duct tape. 5. small piece of gift wrap ribbon. 6. long piece of gold rope or chain to use as a necklace. 7. fragrance 8. Small piece of foam sponge

Step 2: Step 2

Cut the Contact lens case in half and trim the edges.

Step 3: Step 3

Wrap ribbon around the the top lid of the lens case and tape the end with a tiny piece of scotch tape.

Step 4: Step 4

Cut out 2 hearts from the piece of red duct tape to fit on top and bottom of the lens case

Step 5: Step 5

Cut out a round piece of foam to fit in the lower half of the lens case. (Just place the lens case on top of the foam, cut around it and trim to fit.)

Step 6:

Tie the piece of gold rope together at the ends to desired necklace length and place around the open lens case at the hinge.

Step 7:

Now, just add some drops of fragrance to the piece of foam in the case and close the case.

Step 8: Step 8 Optional

Options for placing sentimental objects inside the locket is only limited to size of the lens case chosen for the project. A decorative pill case can also be substituted for the lens case if a larger case is needed. Furthermore the case can be spray painted a different color and decorated with rhinestones, glitter, beads, etc.
