Introduction: Vegan Coconut Chocolate Ice Cream
This chocolate ice cream is very creamy due to the coconut cream which serves as a base instead of dairy heavy cream.
Is a great healthy choice for those restricted from having sugar or dairy.
Step 1: Ingredients
Ingredients (serves 7)
2 cans coconut cream
1/2 cup cocoa powder
4 tablespoons coconut sugar
2 pinches of salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
Step 2: Put It All In
Put all the ingredients into the blender,
Step 3: Blend
blend on high for 60 seconds.
Step 4: Ice Cream Maker
Your ice cream maker should have been in the freezer overnight. Take it out as soon as you are ready to use it.
Pour mixture into ice cream maker,.
Step 5: Churn
Churn in ice cream maker for about 25-30 minutes, or until thick and creamy, as shown in second picture.
Step 6: Done!
Serve immediately. Melts quickly.
Or, store in freezer, and defrost about 10 minutes before serving.
